We need your prayers.  We are embarking on an impossible task!  Without the Holy Spirit’s work, we cannot do this, but nothing is impossible with God.  The same God who controls the winds and the waves controls our destinies. Pray for the Castello family as we will face much spiritual warfare.  Pray that God opens hearts and doors for the Gospel.  Pray that He prepares the hearts of the people we will meet and build community with.

Pray for what Mike Hanafee (www.resdetroit.org) calls the “Five-Fold Chain Reaction” seen in Acts - empowerment (2:1-4), proclamation and harvest (2:36:41), community formation (2:41-47), mobilization (6:1-4, 8:4) and multiplication (9:31).  Pray for God to gather the people called to advance the Gospel in Birmingham.  Pray for the money necessary to plant Ardent to come in.

In order to fulfill our mission, Ardent Church is looking for churches and individuals to join us as financial partners.  Some have the resources to give boldly and consistently, over the entire 5 year stretch.  Others may commit to a portion, while others can only commit at this time to a one-time gift.  In the life of a young, missional church in our context, truly every dollar makes a difference!  Email steven@ardentbirmingham.com for more information.

Some may consider moving to Southside.  Imagine the Gospel advancing and redeeming our city, reconciling relationships, and reviving a people for the glory and renown of Jesus!  Do you want to do something that will leave a lasting impact on a city?  Do you want to step out and stretch your faith by doing the seemingly impossible?  Pray about moving to Birmingham, getting a job here, starting a business, or raising money and being an integral part of Ardent Church.  We are praying for at least 10 families to move to Southside and plant their lives here with us, on mission for God’s glory.  We’d love for you to join us on mission!
